The Signals Processing Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing DSP algorithms in software and hardware, specifically Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). Developed algorithms will be focused on high throughput exploitation of signals, with an emphasis on low signal to noise ratio, higher-order, and/or adaptive modulations.
Education/Experience
Ten (10) years experience as a DSP Algorithm developer is required. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of addition DSP experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
Salary: $155,000-$175,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position, but is not guaranteed. Salary is based on experience, location and contractual requirements which could fall outside of the range listed.
-RF signals analysis
-Demonstrated experience coding with C++ and Python
-Able to design, develop and implement systems within a Linux environment
-Experience with message queue implementation/communication
, Desired Skills-Digital Signal Processing background with strong understanding of satellite communications system design and theory with implementation of concepts into software
-Experience with DSP hardware and software development tools such as digitizers, development kits, and IDEs
-Experience creating/integrating components with software-defined radio (SDR) development suites (GNURadio, X-Midas, etc.)
-Familiarity integrating signal processing technologies into virtual (VMWare) and containerized (Docker/Kubernetes) environments
