Finance Associate (Project Development & Finance) - San Diego

Job Description:
Direct Counsel is representing an AmLaw 100 firm seeking a highly qualified mid-level Associate to join its Project Development & Finance group in Houston, New York, or San Diego. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, including project development and/or finance, preferably at a large national or international law firm.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven associate to join a dynamic and globally recognized team working on complex, high-stakes infrastructure and energy projects.

Qualifications:

• JD from a top-tier law school

• Active and good standing membership with the state bar (or eligibility to waive in)

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in project development, project finance, or related practice areas

• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or energy transactions preferred

• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills

• Excellent academic credentials and professional recommendations
