A meaningful leadership role — direct input into how the firm grows and operates, working side by side with firm leadership that genuinely changes client's lives.
Operational & Strategic Leadership:
- Serve as the operational backbone of the firm, reporting directly to the Managing Partner and identifying and planning for the firm's changing operational needs
- Partner with firm leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, and firm-wide policy; prepare agendas for and attend firm leadership meetings
- Directly supervise and mentor the Receptionist and administrative department personnel, ensuring consistency in procedures and staffing across the firm
Financial Management
- Plan, forecast, prepare annual operating budget, variance analysis, profitability analysis, rate analysis, financial analysis and reporting, accounting statements review
- Oversee billing, invoicing, accounts receivable and payable, trust accounting, cash flow, and banking relationships
- Administer the firm's 401(k) plan and monitor overall financial performance indicators for leadership
- Work in conjunction with the external accountant and tax consultants
- Monitor financial performance indicators
Human Resources & Team Leadership
- Lead recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations for non-attorney staff
- Manage salary and benefits administration, coordinate with HR/payroll vendors, and ensure compliance with employment law
- Set clear performance expectations and KPIs and resolve day-to-day employee relation matters
- Managing all HR-related functions, including onboarding and offboarding of employees, and employment records, policies, procedures, and compliance
- Helping maintain a professional, organized, and collaborative office environment
Practice Management
- Support practice management functions including workload distribution, staffing recommendations, and coordination with the firm's Intake team
- Track key performance indicators — case timelines, revenue per case, collections, andstaff productivity — and provide leadership with real-time operational insights

- Promote a positive workplace culture rooted in accountability and teamwork
- Monitor and report key performance indicators, including:
- Average case value
- Revenue per employee
- Client acquisition cost
- Conversion rates
- Matter lifecycle timelines
- Provide accurate, real-time operational data/insights to support decision-making
