The Senior Director, Commercial Advanced Analytics & Optimization, plays a critical role in building Jazz's next-generation advanced analytics capability within Customer Experience Operations to reshape how we make decisions, engage customers, and deliver impact at scale. This role leads teams that design and deploy advanced analytics, predictive algorithms, and AI-driven solutions to solve complex commercial business challenges, optimize go-to-market effectiveness, and unlock new ways of working to support the customer experience (for HCPs, KOLs, HCOs, Patients). It goes beyond measurement to drive meaningful business outcomes, translating data into action and continuously improving how Jazz connects with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
This role will report to the head of Customer Insights & Data in Customer Experience Operations and directly leads a team that includes:
- The Global Capability Owner for Performance Optimization
- The Global Capability Owner for Predictive Algorithms
- A global team of individuals focused on Advanced Analytics, accountable for end-to-end quality development, model refinement, measurement, analysis, and continuous improvement of analytics solutions.
- An individual focused on Voice of Customer Operations, responsible for measuring, synthesizing, and scaling customer insights to inform experience design, content decisions, enterprise optimization, and drive responsiveness to customer issues and opportunities.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Leadership, Strategy & Vision
Lead and scale enterprise performance analytics and advanced analytics capabilities, including performance measurement, predictive modeling, and Voice of Customer-driven insights, to drive critical business decisions, optimize performance, and deliver measurable impact for customers and the business.
Lead and develop Team Leads, reinforcing clear decision rights, accountability, quality delivery, and performance expectations. This includes:
- Oversee the Advanced Analytics team to deliver standardized, end to end performance measurement, actionable insights, and continuous optimization across channels and portfolios.
- Oversee the Voice of Customer Ops team to turn customer needs, feedback, and experiences into clear priorities that improve how Jazz engages, supports, and delivers value to customers.
- Holding the Global Capability Owners accountable for the performance and outcomes of the Performance Optimization & Predictive Algorithms Global Capabilities including adoption, consistency, and impact of performance insights that guide enterprise prioritization and investment tradeoffs.
Partner with the head of Customer Insights & Data on resource planning, talent strategy, and capability development, including attracting, developing, and retaining high-performing advanced analytics talent as capabilities and the operating model evolve.
Own budget and resource allocation, making investment decisions across the team to maximize impact and performance outcomes.
Set and evolve the team vision and strategy, aligned to Customer Insights & Data priorities and Jazz objectives.
Translate franchise, functional, regional and customer strategies into clear priorities that guide execution across the team.
Define and govern how integrated Advanced Analytics & Optimization capabilities mature over time, balancing near-term execution with long-term standardization, reuse, and scale.
Manage strategic vendor partners with clear accountability for quality, delivery, and outcomes.
Foster a high performance-driven culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement across the team.
Cross-Functional & Regional Alignment
Partner closely with the Activation Leads to ensure business needs, readiness, enablement, and adoption considerations are embedded in Advanced Analytics & Optimization team strategy and prioritization.
Align with Activation Leads, franchise, functional and regional stakeholders including senior leadership to define clear priorities, balancing regional differences in maturity with global standards.
Collaborate with CX Data Tech Leads and Enterprise Data & AI Capability Leads to align on shared data infrastructure, integration standards, and AI/ML enablement - ensuring consistency across analytics platforms and driving coordinated delivery across the Customer Analytics & Insights and Performance Analytics & Optimization teams.
Drive alignment across core Commercial, insights, and enabling functions to ensure advanced analytics, Voice of Customer insights, and performance optimization are consistently embedded in decision-making across Jazz.
Represent the Advanced Analytics & Optimization team in cross-functional forums to drive alignment and resolve dependencies.
Lead the resolution of complex, cross-team issues affecting performance or adoption of Advanced Analytics & Optimization global capabilities.
Identify organizational training needs and partner with Learning & Development to design and deliver targeted capability-building programs that enable effective execution.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Technical Skills
Deep understanding of omnichannel performance measurement, including KPI frameworks, enterprise reporting, and cross channel performance analysis.
Strong understanding of marketing mix modeling, scenario analysis, and optimization techniques used to assess ROI and investment trade offs.
Ability to apply advanced analytics and predictive approaches to evaluate performance drivers and optimization opportunities.
Proficiency in Python and R for analytics, modeling, and data engineering, with experience sourcing and transforming data from cloud platforms such as Redshift and Snowflake. Strong grounding in coding best practices, version control, model performance evaluation, and reproducibility.
Experience working within Agile product development teams and product operating models.
Experience using AI, automation, or agentic workflows to drive enterprise-level performance optimization and decision-making.
Experience leading and developing a high-performing team, including resource planning, performance management, and talent development to support evolving business needs.
