Job description: I. Summary The Tech II works in a temperature- and humidity-controlled environment, performing repair, assembly, and quality compliance tasks for medical devices. This role ensures the pumps are returned to their original state and meet quality standards. II. Essential Functions Follow documented procedures to restore pumps to original state and ensure a quality end product. Troubleshoot various pump components. Use hand tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair devices. Perform limited technical aspects of repair, production, and restocking processes. Complete all documentation required for FDA and quality compliance. III. Qualifications, Knowledge, Education, and Skills Ability to identify small electronic components and differentiate them by markings. Demonstrates teamwork, cooperation, and ability to handle production pressures. Ability to read and follow work instructions and assemble/disassemble devices accurately. Perform tasks with minimal supervision, including documentation for compliance. Good judgment, positive attitude, and high initiative. Willingness and ability to learn production and repair procedures. Basic computer skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet daily targets. Basic math skills and ability to transcribe data accurately. Proficient in reading and writing English. Ability to visually inspect for particulate/foreign matter and distinguish colors per FDA CGMP guidelines. IV. Education/Experience Required High School diploma or GED. Preferred: Experience in mechanical or electrical repair in a manufacturing setting. V. Physical Demands Must be able to sit or stand for most of the workday. Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity. Dynamic lifting: lift/carry up to 15 lbs from floor to shoulder; lift 2 lbs from shoulder to overhead. Push and pull force: maximum 6 lbs. VI. Work Environment FDA-regulated manufacturing environment with strict work rules. Must wear static protective smock at all times in the work area. Must wear and ground wrist strap when working at the workstation. Close proximity to other employees is common. Overtime Incentive Program Effective: May 01, 2026 – End of Q2* Program Guidelines Bonuses are calculated monthly Overtime hours reset at the start of each month. Employees earn a bonus based only on the overtime hours worked during that month. Only actual overtime hours count Bonus credit is earned only for overtime hours actually worked. Regular working hours do not count toward the bonus. Higher overtime = Higher bonus The program follows a tiered structure. As overtime hours increase, the bonus amount increases accordingly.
