Key Responsibilities & Required Skills

As a core member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. Your day will include:

  • Chairside Assisting: Provide dynamic, four-handed dentistry support to our dentists during a variety of treatment procedures.
  • Radiography: Comfortably and accurately take high-quality X-rays (digital radiography experience is a plus).
  • Room Turnaround: Efficiently set up and clean treatment rooms, ensuring strict adherence to infection control protocols before and after each patient.
  • Sterilization: Manage the sterilization of all dental instruments and equipment according to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on dental equipment to keep the practice running smoothly and safely.
  • Records Management: Accurately update and maintain patient dental records, treatment plans, and charts.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor clinical inventory, anticipate needs, and handle the ordering of dental supplies so we’re always fully stocked.
  • Scheduling and Accepting Payments: Collaborating with the Front Desk to schedule appointments and receive payment for services rendered.

What We Are Looking For

  • Active X-ray/Radiology certification is required.
  • Strong understanding of dental instruments, materials, and sterilization protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills with a knack for making anxious patients feel at ease.
  • A team-player attitude with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
