Product Development Coordinator – Food Manufacturing

Direct Hire | Torrance, CA | $65,000 –$75,000 DOE

Are you experienced in food manufacturing and enjoy coordinating new product launches, customer specifications, and food labeling? We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented professional to join our team and help bring new products from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new product launches from customer specifications through production.
• Review and maintain product specifications, labels, and packaging.
• Ensure compliance with FDA food labeling and customer requirements.
• Work closely with Sales, R&D, Quality, Procurement, and Operations.
• Manage customer specification documents and product records.
• Support packaging updates, product changes, and new SKU launches.
• Maintain accurate product, ingredient, and nutritional data.
• Help ensure projects stay on schedule and products are production-ready.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in food manufacturing, product development, customer specifications, or regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of FDA food labeling requirements.
• Experience with GMP, HACCP, or SQF is preferred.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field is preferred but not required.
