Job Purpose

PPO (Post Production Option) is a critical new business for Honda that provides quality accessory options to customers, improving product offerings while generating increased profit for American Honda and its dealers. This position plays a key role in ensuring customers receive high quality PPO installed accessories by supporting quality strategy, assurance, and execution. The role promotes accountability and a strong quality mindset through collaboration and mentorship to achieve worldwide customer satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities

Primarily responsible for quality assurance inspections to ensure each vehicle meets specifications necessary for customer satisfaction

Responsible for taking appropriate measures to maintain stable quality in operations

Promote sound process design methods using defined quality tools

Evaluate and support development of departmental quality improvement and quality system improvement activities to achieve key quality indicators

Evaluate operational and supplier product output in an environment of constant change

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Minimum Educational Qualifications

High School Diploma

Minimum Experience

3 to 5 years of manufacturing, quality, or relevant experience

Other Job Specific Skills

Strong problem solving and decision making skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization

Ability to promote and mentor a strong quality culture and mindset

Ability to evaluate performance and drive results that exceed customer expectations

Working Conditions

Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Weekend and holiday work may be required

Moderate lifting may be required

Ability to work independently and make appropriate decisions to resolve problems

Ability to inspect vehicles based on quality specifications to ensure high standards for customers
