Insurance Verification Specialist

HealthPlus Staffing is assisting one of the most established Hematology/Oncology centers with their search for an Insurance Verification Specialist to join their team in Orlando, FL.

Position: Insurance Verification Specialist

Location: Orlando, FL

Start date: ASAP

Structure: Full Time

Schedule: Mon-Fri from 8am - 5pm

Pay: $16-$18/HR (Commensurate on experience)

Duties:

• Checking eligibility & benefits for all scheduled patients
• Verifying insurance and documenting insurance benefits via EMR
• Add on and STAT verified patients promptly
• Collaborate with Auth/Ref coordinators and other staff members
• Supply co-pay logs for all locations using excel spreadsheet for services rendered
• Answer phone calls and assist patients with billing questions
