In this role, you will be responsible for managing personal injury claims from initial client intake through investigation, negotiation, and settlement discussions. Your expertise will help clients navigate complex injury cases with confidence, ensuring thorough legal research, precise legal drafting, and effective negotiation strategies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by advocating for injured individuals while honing your skills across various legal disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze evidence related to personal injury claims, including medical records, accident reports, and witness statements.
  • Draft detailed legal documents including demand letters, settlement agreements, and case summaries with clarity and precision.
  • Negotiate effectively with insurance companies and opposing counsel to secure favorable settlements for clients.
  • Manage case files meticulously, ensuring all documentation complies with legal standards and deadlines.
  • Communicate clearly with clients to explain legal options, progress updates, and settlement offers throughout the pre-litigation process.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the Texas Bar Association.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in handling auto accident cases and commercial litigation.
  • Proven ability to manage a full caseload diligently and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of federal and state statutes, court rules, forms, processes, and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
