Generalist OB/GYN in Los Angeles County

Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated full-time generalist obstetrician and gynecologist to deliver comprehensive OB/GYN outpatient services at our health center located in Lancaster, CA. Ideal candidates will possess experience in prenatal care, surgical consultations, and various office-based procedures such as colposcopy, hysteroscopy, and endometrial biopsies. Although the role is primarily outpatient-focused, there is an opportunity to allocate up to 40% of your time to hospital-based services within the Department of Health Services. This may involve supervising residents in the clinic, providing labor and delivery coverage, and/or participating in gynecologic operating room activities. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with two full-time Nurse Practitioners and offer consultation and decision-making support as necessary. Strong candidates may also be fluent in Spanish and have experience in safety net health systems.

Requirements:

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency program.

• Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).

• Possession of an active California state medical license or the ability to obtain one.
