A correctional facility is seeking a family medicine DNP for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Capron, VA.

The assignment starts in early to mid-December and lasts 3 or 6 months with the option to extend. Credentialing takes approximately two weeks. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or 4/10-hour shifts. The facility is open to an MD or an autonomous NP. There is no call required. Providers typically see 18 to 20 adult patients per day. Required certifications include a Virginia license and DEA. Support staff includes RNs and LPNs.
