Hospitalist Physician (Inverness)

HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is seeking a PRN Hospitalist to join its elite team in beautiful Inverness, Florida.

Internal Medicine

• On‑site shifts 7 a.m.–7 a.m., nightly call coverage and weekends, nights
• Variable shifts based on need and census (daily census about 25 per provider / about 30 daily admissions)
• Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds
• Follow ICU patients, though ICU patients have critical care consult and majority of critical care management is done by ICU team
• Hospitalists do not run codes
• Potential to work with Internal Medicine residency depending on need and qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine
• Florida license and DEA required
• Preferred experience with Cerner EMR
