Vice President of Business Development (, MN, United States)
We're partnering with a leading developer and manufacturer of branded and private-label prestige beauty products to appoint a Vice President of Business Development to own commercial growth across the business. The organisation is a full-service partner taking products from concept to shelf, for some of the world's most recognised brands, established retailers and fast-scaling indie names alike.
The RoleReporting into senior leadership, you will set and execute the commercial strategy for winning and growing brand partnerships across multiple market segments. You will:
- Own the full sales cycle, targeting and qualifying prestige, retailer and indie brand accounts through to contract negotiation and long-term account growth.
- Build and manage a high-value pipeline, translating brand briefs into feasible, competitively-priced programmes.
- Work hand-in-glove with R&D, formulation and product development to align client requirements with internal capability.
- Be the commercial face of the business.
- Shape pricing, positioning and go-to-market strategy.
- A proven commercial leader with experience within CDMO/CMO, with a track record of landing and growing brand accounts.
- A consultative dealmaker who sells capability and partnership, not just capacity.
- A strong brand-side network and the gravitas to operate at founder and C-Suite level.
