Join Our Team as a Family Medicine Faculty Physician

We are looking for a dedicated Family Medicine Faculty Physician to become a part of our core teaching team at Bryn Mawr Family Practice, one of the most esteemed and long-standing residency programs within our health system. This position presents a remarkable chance to blend direct patient care with resident education and academic leadership in a well-established, community-focused setting.

Position Highlights
  • Engage in outpatient clinical practice while also taking on responsibilities in resident precepting and administrative tasks, including coverage of the newborn nursery.
  • Participate actively in all facets of resident education, including mentoring, evaluations, career guidance, wellness support, lectures, workshops, and supervision of scholarly activities.
  • Contribute to the development of the curriculum, particularly aimed at enhancing training in procedures.
  • Eligible for academic appointments at various medical schools, with institutional assistance for the application process.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of seven core faculty members, additional specialists, and 18 residents throughout a three-year program.
  • Access comprehensive faculty development programs through our Graduate Medical Education offerings.

This role is ideal for a physician educator who is enthusiastic about clinical practice, resident development, and promoting the mission of family medicine education within a supportive, team-oriented atmosphere.

Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine.
  • Valid medical license in Pennsylvania (or eligibility).
  • DEA license and ACLS certification.
  • A minimum of two years of teaching experience is preferred.
  • A strong interest in medical education, curriculum development, and scholarly activities is highly encouraged.
