Core Faculty Position: Academic General Cardiologist

Our organization is growing as an academic institution and is in search of a General Cardiologist to become a core educator in our ACGME-accredited Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship. At our facility, general cardiologists play a crucial role in the training of fellows, exemplifying clinical judgment and evidence-based practices throughout both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Core Faculty Role: Supervise fellows during inpatient consultations and continuity clinics, conduct structured educational sessions, perform milestone-based evaluations, and participate in the Clinical Competency Committee.
- Protected Academic Time: Allocated time for teaching, curriculum development, research, and quality improvement initiatives integrated into your schedule.
- Clinical Practice: Engage in both inpatient consultative and outpatient general cardiology, supported by a comprehensive noninvasive imaging system and collaboration with subspecialty colleagues in heart failure, interventional cardiology, and electrophysiology.
- Mentorship and Research: Support fellow research and quality improvement projects with assistance from our on-site Research Department and simulation lab.

Qualifications
- MD/DO degree, board certified or eligible in Cardiovascular Disease (ABMS/AOA).
- Current Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Proven dedication to trainee education.
- Clinical proficiency in both inpatient and outpatient general cardiology, including noninvasive imaging techniques.
