About the Role

As a Research and Development Tech at our company, you’ll be a key player in our R&D team, involved in creating, designing, and refining both software and hardware solutions. We’re looking for someone with a natural aptitude for technical tasks and a strong eagerness to learn industry-specific skills. Your role will involve scoping out projects, building and testing prototypes, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts to ensure our solutions meet high-quality standards.

You’ll be encouraged to tackle creative problem-solving and take part in future opportunities, including expanding our software into white-label solutions for other IT companies.

Location: New Providence, PA

Note: After a period determined by your manager, the role may transition to a hybrid work arrangement.

Immediate Requirements: To excel in this role, a qualified candidate should demonstrate the following traits or knowledge points:

• Software Development: Experience in developing high-quality software solutions using 1-2 programming languages. A natural knack for coding and an eagerness to learn new languages or tools is important
• Enhancing Existing Solutions: Ability to improve both software and hardware products. This includes refining internal tools and customer-facing solutions based on feedback and performance.
• Innovative Problem Solving: A creative mindset with a talent for thinking outside the box to develop innovative solutions for complex challenges.
• Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to coding and design, ensuring precision and enhancing the overall functionality and user experience of our products.

Future Requirements: As you grow in this role, you will be expected to attain and expand your knowledge in the following areas:

• Work with REST APIs: Learn to utilize REST APIs for integrating and enhancing the functionality of various software components.
• VoIP Integration: Gain expertise in building and managing integrations with our VoIP servers to improve communication systems.
• Cellular Networks: Develop a solid understanding of LTE network technologies and best practices for optimizing network traffic.
• Circuit Boards and DC Wiring: Acquire skills in designing and developing circuit boards and DC wiring systems.
• Raspberry Pi Development: Explore and utilize Raspberry Pi technology for specific projects, contributing to hardware-software integration where needed.
