• Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (SARMC) - Boise
• Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Nampa
• SAMG Pulmonary Medicine Outpatient Clinic

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in internal medicine, pulmonary, and critical care, along with fellowship training. Responsibilities include:

• Managing the treatment of complex, critically ill inpatients in a high-acuity ICU setting.
• Fostering collaborative relationships with adult hospitalist services and other specialists.
• Providing high-quality outpatient care that encompasses all aspects of pulmonary medicine.
• Participating in a rotating schedule that includes ICU days, nights, pulmonary consult services, and clinic duties, totaling 182 shifts annually.

Note that ICU coverage is shift-based and does not involve traditional on-call duties.

SARMC in Boise features:

• A 22-bed Medical/Surgical ICU
• A 10-bed Cardiac ICU
• A 10-bed Cardiovascular/Thoracic ICU

We offer a range of services, including Trauma, Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery, Neurosurgery, Interventional Cardiology, interventional stroke care, Oncology, and General Surgery. Our pulmonary diagnostic services include:

• Endobronchial ultrasound
• Bedside diagnostic ultrasound
• Navigational bronchoscopy
• Pulmonary function testing
• Sleep diagnostics

Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa provides an 18-bed ICU with all standard ICU procedures.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
• Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary Critical Care fellowship.
• Board certification or the ability to obtain certification within three years of employment.
• Eligibility for Idaho and Oregon medical licensure and privileges at SARMC-Boise, SAMC-Nampa, and other affiliated hospitals as necessary.
• Valid controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
