• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Call Schedule: None required.
• Compensation: Competitive salary, annual performance bonuses, and regular salary increases.
• Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of annual leave, including 26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid federal holidays, and a potential 5-day paid absence for Continuing Medical Education (CME).
• Retirement: Traditional federal pension with 5 years vesting and a federal 401K with contributions up to 5% by the organization.
• Insurance: Comprehensive federal health, vision, dental, term life, and long-term care insurance options (many can be carried into retirement).
• Licensure: Must hold one full and unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state or territory.
• CME: Potential reimbursement of up to $2,500 per year.
• Malpractice Coverage: Free liability protection with tail coverage included.
• Contract: No physician employment contract and minimal restrictions on moonlighting.

• U.S. Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is impossible to recruit qualified citizens, in accordance with VA policy.
• Education: A Doctor of Medicine degree or an equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine is mandatory.
• Licensure: Candidates must have a current, complete, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
• Residency: Completion of a residency program in an accredited core specialty is required.
• Board Certification: Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Family or Internal Medicine.
• Preferred Experience: Current certification from the American Board of Internal or Family Medicine is highly desirable.
