Mechanical Engineer (EIT) – 3-5 Years

Position Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer (EIT) with 3-5 years of experience to join our engineering team in Austin, TX. The successful candidate will support the design and development of HVAC and plumbing systems for a variety of commercial, healthcare, education, mixed-use, and institutional projects.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC and plumbing systems for building projects.
• Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and energy analyses.
• Prepare construction documents, specifications, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with architects, owners, and other engineering disciplines.
• Conduct site visits and assist with construction administration activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and industry standards.
• Support project managers with project execution and client coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
• 3-5 years of experience in MEP consulting or building systems design.
• Proficiency with Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
• Experience with HVAC load calculation software such as HAP or TRACE 3D Plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
