Mechanical Engineer (EIT) – 3-5 Years

Position Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer (EIT) with 3-5 years of experience to join our growing MEP engineering team. This individual will assist in the design and coordination of HVAC and plumbing systems for a variety of commercial, healthcare, education, municipal, and mixed-use projects.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial building projects.
• Perform heating and cooling load calculations and equipment sizing.
• Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate designs with architects and other engineering disciplines.
• Assist with site visits, field investigations, and construction administration.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and industry standards.
• Support project managers in meeting project schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
• 3-5 years of mechanical design experience within an MEP consulting environment.
• Proficiency with Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
• Experience with load calculation software such as TRACE 3D Plus or HAP is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of applicable mechanical codes and standards.
