Danbury Hospital, part of Northwell Health, is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist with a sub-specialty interest in GI/GU Oncology to join its established and growing practice in Danbury, Connecticut. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated GI/GU team across two locations and contribute to a rapidly expanding Cancer Institute with a focus on clinical trials. Practice Info
- Join a long established and growing practice within the Cancer Institute.
- Work closely with the GI/GU team in Danbury and New Milford locations.
- The Cancer Institute is expanding its clinical trial portfolio.
- Danbury Hospital provides tertiary oncology services and is accredited by The American College of Surgeons as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program.
- The oncology service line includes state-of-the-art radiation oncology and Surgical specialty services in Breast, Thoracic, Gastrointestinal, Gynecologic, Genitourinary Oncology and Hepatobiliary Surgery.
- Nurse navigation, genetic counseling and screening are available onsite.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with our GI/GU team.
- Teaching of medicine residents and medical students.
- Pursue research and clinical trials.
Compensation
- Highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives.
- $475,000-$600,000 annually, relative to experience.
- $50,000 Sign on bonus/retention package plus relocation allowance is available for full time candidates.

Requirements
- Board certified/eligible in oncology.
