My client, a global entertainment company, is looking to hire a Business Affairs Consultant to join their team in Burbank, CA. This is a 5-month contract position that will be onsite, supporting the their TV series.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior entertainment attorney or business affairs executive to negotiate high-profile content deals for Paramount+ original series while partnering with creative, production, legal, finance, and marketing teams throughout the content development lifecycle

What You'll Be Doin

• g:Structure, negotiate, and draft development, licensing, and production agreements for Paramount+ original serie
• s.Lead negotiations for above-the-line talent agreements and coordinate with studios and production partner
• s.Collaborate with Legal on long-form agreements and standard deal term
• s.Partner with Creative, Production, Finance, Marketing, Communications, and Legal teams to advise on business affairs matter
• s.Review production budgets, underlying rights agreements, and development documentatio
• n.Develop internal policies related to talent requirements, approvals, credits, exclusivity, advertising, and promotional obligation
• s.Stay current on legal, business, and industry trends impacting streaming and content productio

Required Qualificatio

• ns:Bachelor's Degree and Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law scho
• ol.8+ years of experience negotiating entertainment deals at a network, streaming platform, studio, production company, or entertainment law fi
• rm.Strong experience negotiating content, licensing, development, and production agreemen
• ts.Excellent drafting, analytical, organizational, and communication skil
