Description: We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and manufacturing of pressure vessels within a growing industrial manufacturing environment. This role is highly hands-on, splitting time between design work in the office and collaboration on the production floor to optimize builds and troubleshoot issues. The engineer will be responsible for creating 3D models and fabrication drawings, supporting vessel builds, and ensuring designs meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. This position works closely with manufacturing, quality, and third-party inspectors, with a strong focus on ASME pressure vessel code and metal fabrication processes. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and able to balance speed with accuracy.
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
* 2-5+ years of manufacturing experience in a metalworking environment
* Exposure to welding environments and welded structures
* 3D modeling experience required (SolidWorks preferred)
* Experience designing or working with mechanical systems such as tanks, piping systems, heat exchangers, skids, or similar equipment
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical details
* Familiarity with ASME pressure vessel code preferred
