A leading global law firm is seeking a Banking / Structured Finance / Restructuring Associate to join its practice in New York or Charlotte. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience representing banks and other financial institutions in structured finance transactions, including asset-backed securities (ABS) and collateralized loan obligation (CLO) matters, as well as project finance and loan agency work. For mid-level candidates, experience negotiating and drafting credit agreements and structuring loan transactions is required.

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in structured finance, banking, or restructuring matters

• Experience with ABS, CLOs, project finance, and loan agency transactions

• For mid-level candidates, demonstrated experience with credit agreements and loan structures

• Excellent academic credentials

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Client-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines

• Active membership in the New York State Bar

Compensation & Benefits:
The expected salary range for this position is $235,000–$260,000, with final compensation determined based on education, experience, job-related factors permitted by law, internal equity, market data, and geographic differentials.
