Debt Finance Associate Attorney
Job Description
This is an exceptional opportunity for attorneys with leveraged finance or acquisition finance experience to work on sophisticated financing transactions for premier private equity sponsors, lenders, and corporate borrowers within one of the most active debt finance practices in the world.
Responsibilities- Structure, draft, and negotiate a broad range of financing transactions, including:
- Senior secured financings
- Mezzanine financings
- Subordinated debt transactions
- Acquisition financings
- Loan workouts and restructurings
- Represent borrowers and lenders in complex domestic and cross-border transactions
- Advise private equity sponsors and corporate clients on strategic financing matters related to mergers, acquisitions, and leveraged transactions
- Collaborate closely with deal teams on sophisticated transactional matters across industries
- 2–6 years of law firm experience in:
- Debt finance
- Leveraged finance
- Acquisition finance
- Commercial lending transactions
- Experience drafting and negotiating financing documentation
- Leveraged finance experience in the M&A/private equity context strongly preferred
- Excellent academic credentials and strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills

CompensationExpected compensation range: $235,000 – $390,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
