Title : Mechanical Engineer

Location: Greenville, SC (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 1st Shift | 40 Hours/Week

Job Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support manufacturing operations by providing engineering design liaison support in a fast-paced production environment. This role focuses on resolving manufacturing issues, supporting product improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide design liaison engineering support for manufacturing operations.
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing and production-related engineering issues.
• Perform engineering analysis using hand calculations, CAD, FEA, and other engineering tools.
• Review and evaluate non-conforming hardware and recommend engineering solutions.
• Support defect reduction initiatives through improved engineering designs and manufacturing processes.
• Update and revise engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Conduct technical reviews to establish rework and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience with CAD software (Creo, SolidWorks, NX, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of engineering design principles, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Manufacturing or design liaison engineering experience.
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.

Work Environment

• 100% Onsite in Greenville, SC
• Monday–Friday, 1st Shift
• 40 hours per week
