About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Institute of Health Research and Policy. The successful candidate will be a collaborative and strategic leader, responsible for extending the mission of the Institute and growing its business to meet community needs. This role requires a proven leader with a passion for the mission, capable of connecting great ideas with sustainable revenue streams. The Executive Director will be tasked with developing and implementing strategic initiatives, building new revenue models, and ensuring the organization's long-term viability. Solid financial management skills, transparency, and accountability are mandatory. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years' leadership experience in a research institute, with a strong background in research, education, and/or advocacy. Experience in public health or similar community health settings, particularly with a focus on metrics and their role in policy impact, is highly advantageous. The Executive Director will be expected to have a clear vision for the organization and a robust business model. They must be an exceptional relationship builder, capable of collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including healthcare providers, academic institutions, nonprofit organizations, advocacy groups, employers, and policymakers. The role is pivotal in advancing patient-centered healthcare practices and policies, and the candidate should be prepared to lead the Institute to new levels of excellence. The position is not just about maintaining the status quo but about driving growth and innovation in response to the evolving needs of the community.
