About the Role

Candidates for the Vice President position at the company's Environmental Resources Trust (ERT) must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 14 years of senior management experience in climate policy and carbon markets. The role requires deep technical expertise in climate change science, GHG accounting, and carbon markets, as well as a proven ability to navigate complex geopolitical and multi-stakeholder landscapes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management and operations, including experience in financial operations, strategic planning, and personnel management. Technical and policy responsibilities include leading the development of high-integrity carbon market positions, monitoring policy and technological advancements, and ensuring the integrity of issued credits. The VP will also be expected to have strong communication skills, be proficient in the MS Office suite, and be authorized to work in the United States.
