About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to spearhead the transformation of its high-volume mortgage platform into a scalable primary checking account acquisition engine. This executive leadership role is pivotal in driving measurable customer acquisition, deposit growth, and relationship expansion. The successful candidate will be tasked with evolving marketing into a growth engine, combining data-driven performance marketing, brand leadership, and customer lifecycle strategy within a regulated financial services environment. Responsibilities include leading the mortgage-to-checking conversion engine, enterprise deposit growth and funding strategy, and embedded banking experience and distribution. The CMO will also be expected to build and lead a high-performing marketing organization, ensure brand positioning as a primary financial institution, and influence organizational change across various teams. Applicants for the CMO position at the company should have a proven track record in driving consumer banking growth, deposit acquisition, and customer relationship expansion. The role requires deep expertise in digital marketing, performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, and growth strategy, with a strong understanding of consumer banking products, particularly checking, savings, and mortgage. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years' of senior marketing leadership experience in banking, credit unions, or fintech, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Key qualifications include the ability to influence executive stakeholders, lead transformational growth initiatives, and a deep understanding of regulated financial services environments and compliance considerations. The CMO will be expected to build a culture of continuous optimization, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making, and to ensure alignment across product, sales, operations, and compliance teams.
