About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead the strategic marketing plan in alignment with the organization's overall goals. The CMO will be a key executive responsible for the development and execution of enterprise-wide marketing, brand, communications, digital engagement, member growth, and business development strategies. This role involves leading all aspects of marketing, including branding, member acquisition and retention, public relations, digital marketing, and market research. The successful candidate will also be tasked with overseeing critical relationships and must have a strong understanding of retail banking, lending, deposit products, and financial services marketing. Candidates for the CMO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 10-15 years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior executive marketing role within financial services or related industries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in brand transformation, digital marketing initiatives, and member/customer growth strategies. Expertise in digital marketing, marketing analytics, CRM systems, and data-driven decision-making is essential. The role requires a leader with experience in managing marketing budgets, agencies, and cross-functional teams, as well as the ability to present to executive leadership and the Board of Directors. Knowledge of the California financial services market dynamics is also preferred.
