The Company is in search of a Board Director with a strong financial leadership background to take on the role of Audit Committee Chair within a relatively short period. The ideal candidate will have a robust governance experience and deep financial expertise, with an accounting designation being preferred. While not mandatory, a background in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry is considered advantageous. The successful candidate should have a proven track record as a Chief Financial Officer or in a similar senior financial or executive leadership position, particularly within a US publicly traded organization. Experience in capital markets, financing transactions, and M&A is highly valued, as is a history of serving on or chairing an Audit Committee. The role also requires a breadth of prior public board experience, including work with early-stage growth companies through critical value inflection points. Applicants for the Board Director position at the company should be prepared for a significant time commitment, including a minimum of 4 scheduled Board meetings, 1 AGM, and additional Independent Director and Audit Committee meetings.
