About the Role
The Company is seeking a General Manager/Chief of Basketball Operations for its Women's Basketball team. This pivotal role involves supporting the Head Coach in a variety of areas, including revenue-sharing initiatives, NIL partnerships, roster-building strategies, and overall program operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, overseeing student-athlete salary management, ensuring compliance with NCAA regulations, and engaging in alumni and institutional fundraising. Key responsibilities also include team and player management, developing NIL and branding strategies, and managing the daily operations of the women's basketball program. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, at least 2 years' of relevant operations experience, and a strong understanding of revenue-sharing agreements, NIL partnerships, and NCAA compliance regulations. The role requires exceptional negotiation skills, the ability to balance multiple projects, and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Experience in basketball operations, administration, recruiting, or fundraising is preferred. The ideal candidate will be committed to upholding the values of college athletics and promoting the welfare and development of student-athletes. Responsibilities also include strategic planning, community and alumni outreach, event coordination, and administrative decision-making to support the coaching staff.
