About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President (SVP) for Benefits to lead the development and execution of the benefits group captive strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth, operational excellence, and client satisfaction across the benefits portfolio. This strategic leadership role involves focusing on client servicing, operational improvements, technology investments, and cross-functional collaboration. The SVP will also be tasked with identifying and capitalizing on cross-selling opportunities, leading the development of new benefits and ancillary products, and pursuing merger and acquisition opportunities to expand the benefits portfolio. Candidates for the SVP, Benefits position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years' of experience in health and benefits or a related field. Significant experience in the medical stop loss, self-funding, or benefits consulting industry, along with relevant insurance designations, is required. The role demands a proven track record in benefits strategy, captive management, and driving revenue growth. Expertise in client relationship management, cross-functional collaboration, and a thorough knowledge of insurance regulations are essential. The ideal candidate will have technical stop loss and captive sales experience, and a strong background in leading and inspiring high-performing teams. Experience with mergers and acquisitions is a plus, and the role requires a willingness to travel as needed.
