About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Fund Accounting with a strong background in investment services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the fund accounting service delivery for a key client, ensuring the highest standards of control, governance, and client expectation are met. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of client reporting, valuation, and operational decision-making. The Managing Director will have full accountability for the end-to-end delivery of all fund accounting services, driving a culture of service excellence, and managing a dedicated fund accounting team. They will also be the senior escalation point for any material service, control, or client matters and will be expected to lead senior client engagement and provide timely, action-oriented reporting to support effective oversight. Applicants for the Managing Director position should have a primary degree, professional accounting qualification, or equivalent experience, with a preference for a background in fund accounting and investment services. A minimum of 10 years' experience in the field is ideal, along with a proven track record of senior leadership in large, complex client relationships. The role requires a deep understanding of securities, investment strategies, market practices, and operating risk, as well as a strong knowledge of fund accounting products and processes. The candidate must be adept at managing in a regulated environment, with a focus on risk management, control effectiveness, and service resilience.
