The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Physician, Market President, Chief Medical Officer, and other local and system leaders to drive the organization's commitment to transforming the healthcare experience. Candidates for the VPMA position must hold an MD or DO degree, with board certification required and primary care specialty certification preferred. While not mandatory, rural experience is also a valued qualification. The role demands a leader who can effectively collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders and is dedicated to the principles of the organization. The VPMA will play a critical part in the company's integrated nonprofit health system, which includes a vast network of hospitals, clinic locations, senior care communities, and a large team of physicians and advanced practice providers. The position is ideal for a physician with a strong background in a primary care specialty, who is passionate about the delivery of high-quality healthcare, particularly in rural settings.
