While the role does not currently involve direct reports, the VP will be instrumental in contract execution and will later be responsible for staffing the projects with the necessary resources. Applicants for the VP of Business Development position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years' of experience, with a preference for those with 10 to 15 years' in the field. A strong background in the government agency or public health sector is essential, as is a deep understanding of FAR and DFAR regulations.
