About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Auxiliary and Business Services to provide strategic and operational leadership for a diverse portfolio of revenue-generating and service-oriented units. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the financial sustainability, operational excellence, and alignment of these units with institutional priorities. This role involves driving financial performance, leading contract strategy, and vendor governance, as well as directing capital planning and maintenance priorities. The AVP will also be tasked with cultivating a culture of leadership excellence, evaluating business models, and establishing performance standards to drive continuous improvement. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and significant senior leadership experience in auxiliary services, higher education administration, finance, operations, or a comparably complex multi-unit operation. The role requires a proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar operating budgets, developing pricing strategies, and ensuring service quality and customer satisfaction. Desirable qualifications include a Master's degree, experience in multiple auxiliary functions, and a history of improving financial performance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong business, strategic, and financial acumen, effective communication skills, and the ability to lead through complexity and change.
