About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for its M&A practice, with a focus on business services within the asset and wealth management sector. The successful candidate will be a key player in the firm's client relationship management, with a primary responsibility of proactively engaging with potential new clients, including private equity firms and business owners. This role demands a professional with a strong track record in executing middle-market M&A transactions, particularly on the sell-side, and the ability to lead the execution of deals. The Vice President will also be involved in training and developing junior team members and is expected to contribute to the firm's entrepreneurial and less rigid work environment. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should possess a minimum of 4-8 years' of M&A experience, with a preference for those who have worked within financial services, particularly in the FIG and asset and wealth management sectors. The role requires a candidate with a strong academic record, excellent skills in finance, accounting, and financial modeling, and a proven ability to connect with clients and lead meetings.
