About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Business Development. The successful candidate will be tasked with the critical role of initiating, qualifying, and converting leads to create new business opportunities and generate sales for consulting services in the manufacturing and operations sector. This position requires the management of both new and existing client partnerships to capture market share, as well as the creation and deployment of targeted commercial strategies to meet revenue targets and drive profitable growth. The role is highly strategic, involving the ownership of the direction and development of go-to-market strategies, and the ability to operate and manage expectations at the C-level. Applicants for the Managing Director (Business Development) role at the company should have a proven track record in selling consulting services, with a focus on the $2-$5 million range. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree or equivalent, and must possess the ability to draw on existing networks and contacts. A self-starter with the capacity to work with high independence, the candidate should also have relevant experience in consulting services, both in business development and in analysis and/or delivery. Experience working at the CEO and Board Room level is essential, and the company is open to considering candidates who have held CEO or company President positions and are looking to leverage their network in a business development capacity.
