DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

the client is seeking a mission-driven, dynamic Director of Business Development to help secure opportunities for students through its Corporate Work Study model. this role will expand the network of corporate work study partners so students can gain workplace experiences aligned with the organization’s mission of preparing leaders for lives of faith, purpose, and service. the position focuses on developing partnerships that support student learning and readiness for college and life. the Director of Business Development will identify, cultivate, and secure new corporate partnerships, strengthening existing employer relationships and employer engagement at the executive level. responsibilities include supporting high-level strategy and managing the partner pipeline, ensuring effective outreach and coordination to drive student placement and partner growth. the role is expected to expand revenue and deepen employer partnerships by creating clear, mission-aligned opportunities for student associates to contribute in entry-level roles. the ideal candidate will bring strong ties to the local business community and the ability to build partnerships with a focus on long-term value for both employers and students. this position will require a proactive approach to relationship development, executive engagement, and pipeline management to meet ambitious goals for student placement and organizational growth. the client will rely on the Director to help strengthen employer talent pathways through reliable, meaningful student support within corporate work study arrangements.
