Slitting Operator

Adecco is seeking an experienced Slitting Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining slitting equipment while ensuring products meet quality standards, production goals, and safety requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing professional who takes pride in producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot slitting equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.

• Follow established work instructions, product specifications, and operating procedures.

• Load raw materials and unload finished products according to production requirements.

• Perform quality inspections and make machine adjustments as needed to maintain product standards.

• Accurately complete production records, equipment logs, and other required documentation.

• Assist with routine preventive maintenance activities to support equipment reliability and performance.

• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Train and assist team members as needed while promoting a positive and safe work environment.

• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety policies and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Previous slitting machine experience is required.

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a machine operator or machine helper.

• 2+ years of direct machine operating experience.

• Experience in the pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA), converting, or tape manufacturing industry is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Basic math, reading, and measurement skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout a 12-hour shift, including standing, walking, bending, climbing, and reaching.

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
