About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide enterprise-level leadership and strategic direction. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning the organization's strategy, governance, and mission delivery across its various entities. This includes leading the association, working with affiliated LLCs and foundations, and ensuring the professional credibility and programmatic reach of the organization. The CEO will be tasked with driving long-range strategic planning, strengthening the organization's identity, and positioning it for future market and professional shifts. Key responsibilities also include enhancing the member experience, increasing public and stakeholder awareness, and maintaining financial sustainability through disciplined execution and innovation. Applicants for the CEO position at the company should have a proven track record of executive leadership in a complex, mission-driven organization, preferably in a scientific, technical, professional, health, safety, or association environment. The role requires a leader with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, the ability to build and lead high-performing teams, and a commitment to fostering a healthy organizational culture. The ideal candidate will be visionary, strategic, and collaborative, with the ability to translate long-term direction into practical execution. Experience in public policy, advocacy, and government relations is a plus. The CEO will be expected to be a visible, trusted voice for the profession, and to proactively engage in activities that position the organization as a leading, influential voice in the field of occupational and environmental health and safety.
