DOT & Safety Compliance Specialist / Associate Business Process Analyst

United Talent Staffing is seeking a DOT & Safety Compliance Specialist / Associate Business Process Analyst for a contractor opportunity in the Clarksburg, WV area. This position is responsible for supporting DOT compliance programs, safety initiatives, and business process improvement efforts within the natural gas industry.
The ideal candidate will have experience with DOT compliance, safety regulations, and process improvement while possessing strong analytical and organizational skills. This role works closely with multiple departments to ensure regulatory compliance, improve operational processes, and support a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with administration of DOT compliance programs, including:
- Driver Qualification (DQ) files
- Commercial driver's licensing requirements
- Medical certifications
- Drug and alcohol testing programs
- Safety incentive programs
- Monitor compliance with DOT, OSHA, PHMSA, and company safety standards.
- Support safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective action tracking.
- Maintain accurate compliance documentation and safety records.
- Assist in regulatory reporting and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business process gaps and operational improvements.
- Analyze performance data, safety metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Recommend process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, reduce risk, and improve compliance.
- Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and technology enhancements.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and project documentation as requested.
- Promote a culture of workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience within the natural gas industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Preferred
- Experience with DOT regulations and compliance programs.
- Knowledge of OSHA and PHMSA regulations.
- Experience with safety compliance reporting and documentation.
- Experience supporting business process improvement initiatives.

Schedule & Pay
- Pay: $25.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday (standard business hours)
