About the Role

The Company is seeking an Area Vice President of Business Development to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving referral growth, supporting business strategy, and developing both the sales and operations teams within their assigned area. This role is highly collaborative and hands-on, with a focus on leading the business development team and working closely with operations leaders to ensure market success. Key responsibilities include mentoring and empowering operational partners, supporting forecasting and strategic planning, and helping to ensure each market is equipped to drive and sustain growth. The AVP will also be involved in cultivating key hospital relationships, evaluating market trends, and representing the company at relevant events. Applicants for the Area Vice President of Business Development position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of top-level sales experience. The role requires the ability to develop, coach, and manage a team of 6-12 direct reports, as well as the flexibility to travel up to 75% of the time. The ideal candidate will have a background in private duty nursing, therapy, or home healthcare, and possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
