Family Medicine Physician Opportunity in St. Ansgar, Iowa

Our organization is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to become part of a busy practice with immediate patient volume. This role encompasses a full spectrum of care, including an outpatient clinic in St. Ansgar, inpatient rounding, and emergency room duties in Osage.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of 5 Physicians and 9 Advanced Practice Providers across two clinics.
- Provide comprehensive care from newborns to end-of-life, with optional shared OB care.
- Enjoy a flexible work schedule, with options for a 4 or 4.5-day work week.
- Utilize on-site lab, x-ray, and pharmacy services.
- Access specialists including a Podiatrist, General Surgeon, Optometrist, and CRNAs, along with additional support from MercyOne North Iowa.
- Admit patients to the Mitchell County Regional Health Center, a 25-bed critical access hospital recognized as a Top 100 hospital.
- Offer a wide range of services including General Surgery, pulmonary and sports rehabilitation, speech therapy, and more.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible (must achieve certification within 3 years of eligibility).
- Graduate from an accredited medical or osteopathic school, with completion of a relevant residency program.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Must obtain medical staff privileges at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.
- Eligible for a State of Iowa physician license, Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate, and Federal DEA Certificate.
- All offers are contingent upon successful completion of references, background checks, pre-employment physicals, and drug screenings.
Compensation and Benefits
Attractive Compensation Package
We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits, including:
- A $250,000 bonus package.
- A 2-year income guarantee of $301,290.
- Relocation assistance up to $15,000.
- 34 days of paid time off (PTO) when on base; 40 days when on production.
- Annual CME allowance of $6,000.
