CNC Machinist Lathe/Milling exp(Programming is a Plus) $38/hr

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled All Around Machinist with strong setup experience to join our team.

This role involves working with a variety of CNC and manual machines to produce high-quality components, primarily in short-run production environments.

The ideal candidate is versatile, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple machine platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines (3-axis)
• Work with Robodrill and DMG Mori Seiki equipment
• Operate manual lathe machines and Bridgeport mills
• Utilize Prototrak systems for machining operations
• Perform short-run production with frequent changeovers
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CNC programming is a plus
• Familiarity with SolidWorks and/or CamWorks
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a machinist with setup capabilities
• Experience with both CNC and manual machining equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards

Hours:

Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30pm

Pay Rate:

Up to $38/hour (based on experience)
