SUBSTANCE ABUSE Counselor Customer Screener for Baltimore City DSS

THE TIME ORGANIZATION is seeking a dynamic professionals!! TIME Organization in partnership with Baltimore City Department of Social Services will be assisting clients to be screened for Substance abuse needs and other levels of support to ensure that they are eligible and able to receive their entitlements.

Primary Job Function: Substance abuse counselor will be assigned to a Baltimore City Social Services location where substance abuse screenings will be completed for potential benefit recipients.

Essential Job Functions:

• Conducts screening for all clients
• Complete referral and follow up for additional services needed.
• Collaborate with the Department of Social Services to ensure that all data is easily coordinated
• Enter data in to electronic record and update data as required
• Participate in supervision and meetings
• Ensures accurate and current clinical records are maintained in accordance with Federal and State Regulations

Qualifications | Education | Certifications:

• MUST HAVE ADT OR HIGHER SUBSTANCE ABUSE CERTIFICATION
• Must have current CSC-AD
• substance abuse specialization.
• Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals a plus.

Must demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population and must be TECH Savvy and adaptable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63,636.00 per year
