About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant General Counsel for Health Plan Operations to join their team. This key legal partner will provide practical and business-minded counsel across a range of activities that support the operation of Medicare Advantage and related products. The role is highly hands-on, with a focus on supporting the claims process, network development and management, provider contracting, delegated entity oversight, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating complex legal requirements into actionable guidance, supporting the implementation of clinical programs and quality initiatives, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance with state and federal health care laws and regulations. Applicants must be licensed to practice law in at least one state, with 8-10 years of experience, including a minimum of 2-4 years in an in-house legal role, preferably at a health plan.
