Position Summary
The Finance & Administrative Operations Director(FAOD) serves as NCAE's senior director responsible for the stewardship of the Association's financial, administrative, human resource, technology, facilities, and operational infrastructure. Reporting to the Executive Director, the FAOD reviews, analyzes, and evaluates all matters relative to the financial interests of NCAE and working with consulting partners and vendors advises the Executive Director, the President, the Board of Directors, and the Budget and Finance Committee.
The FAOD directs and supervises a team of experienced accounting, finance, human resources, technology, and membership professionals, and ensures that the Association's operations support and advance its organizing and strategic priorities. The FAOD participates in the collective bargaining process with the staff union alongside the Executive Director and President and serves as a key advisor on the long-term financial sustainability of the organization.
